112 years of moving pictures.

Film buffs rejoice!
Today marks the 112th anniversary of the the first commercial, public screening of cinematographic films. The screening took place in Paris on this day in 1895 and was organzied by the Lumière brothers.
The 50 second short,”La Sortie des usines Lumière”, or “Workers Leaving the Lumière Factory”, is noted as the first real motion picture ever made and was shot in 35mm.
