October means film in the Hudson Valley.
So, in an effort to get a jump on things, here is a short (painfully) list of events to come in our screen-happy region.
The Bardavon begins its popular film screenings.
I wait all year for this.
They’re off to a rather naughty start this season…
first up, “The Graduate” (1967).
Also on the 5th:
The 9th Annual New Paltz Climbing Film Festival- presented by Chestnut Mountain.
The festival will begin with a climbers reception and slide show at the Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center.
The Catskill Mountain Foundation will present The Grand Opening of the Doctorow Center for Performing Arts & Film in the quaint and almost trendy village of Hunter.
And, Of course, the 8th Annual Woodstock Film Festival takes place on the 10th.
Details on each event to come…Scouts Honor.
